PNE 146: Fundamentals of Practical Nursing

6 credit

Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 12 hours.

Introduces students to practical nursing history, legal and ethical aspects, and current trends. Teaches nursing knowledge and skills with emphasis on meeting basic patient needs. Utilizes nursing process. Provides learning experiences through classroom instruction, laboratory practices, and supervised clinical experience. 48 Clinical Hours.
