Purpose: The Sports Management Career Studies Certificate (CSC) program is designed toprovide students with foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary to begin or advance a career in the sports industry. This short-term program prepares students for entry-level positions in a variety of settings, including sports organizations, recreation departments, fitness centers, and event management companies. Emphasizing key areas such as sports marketing, facility operations, event planning, and organizational leadership, the program also develops essential communication, decision-making, and management skills specific to the sports and recreation field.

Admission Requirements: A student eligible for admission to the college (see appropriate section of college catalog) will normally be considered for admission into this program. 

Program Requirements: The curriculum provides coverage of leadership, foundational business, sports-specific, and general skill-building courses.
