ETR 143: Devices and Applications I3 credit
Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours.
Teaches theory of active devices and circuits such as diodes, power supplies, transistors (BJT’S), amplifiers and their parameters, FETs, and operational amplifiers. May include UJT’S, oscillators, RF amplifiers, thermionic devices, and others. Total 5-8 hours per week.
Prerequisite(s): ETR 113 or knowledge of D. C./A. C. theory.
