Program Purpose:
Information Technology and Cybersecurity Fundamentals Career Studies Certificate prepares students for introductory IT knowledge and skills and to recognize, prevent, and defend against threats to information and information systems.
Program Requirements:
In order for students to be well prepared and successful in all areas of IT including key areas of Information Technology and Cybersecurity, students need to be introduced to basic topics of operating systems, computer hardware, networking concepts, programming, and network security basics and cybersecurity core topics.
The goal is to create entry-level employment opportunities in the Information Technology and Cybersecurity Fields.
