BLD 195: Topics In: Residential Electrical, HVAC, and Construction Equipment

Introductory survey of residential electrical systems, HVAC fundamentals, and common construction equipment. Covers essential safety practices, electrical devices and wiring methods, basic heating and cooling principles, HVAC career pathways and apprenticeships, and safe operation of equipment such as aerial lifts, skid steers, generators, compressors, compactors, and forklifts.  An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
