WEL 241: Robotic Welding I

2 Credits

Laboratory hours per week: 3

Examines safety, setup, programming, and operation of a welding robot. Covers variables and problems in addition to solutions applied to provide a practical and efficient application of the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) process to an automated system. (Part I of II) An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
