WEL 233: Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) Aluminum

2 Credits

Lecture hours per week: 1
Laboratory hours per week: 3

Examines the use of the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) process of welding aluminum. Focuses on welding aluminum projects in various weld joint configurations and in all welding positions. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
