MAC 206: Production Machining Techniques

Lecture hours per week: 4
Laboratory hours per week: 6

Offers practice in advanced machine shop. Emphasizes mass production techniques and interchangeable parts manufacture. Covers setup and operation of tooling and fixtures to manufacture work pieces to specified tolerances. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
