PNE 146: Fundamentals of Practical Nursing

Laboratory hours per week: 12

Introduces students to practical nursing history, legal and ethical aspects, and current trends. Teaches nursing knowledge and skills with emphasis on meeting basic patient needs. Utilizes nursing process. Provides learning experiences through classroom instruction, laboratory practices, and supervised clinical experience. 48 Clinical Hours. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
