MEC 140: Introduction to Mechatronics

Presents foundational concepts In mechatronics including analog and digital electronics, sensors, actuators, microprocessors, and icroprocessor Interfacing to ele,ctromechanlcal systems. Surveys components and measurement equipment used In the design, installation, and repair of echatronlc equipment and circuits. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
Prerequisite(s): divisional approval.
