MAC 162: Machine Shop Practices II

3 Credits

Lecture hours per week: 2
Laboratory hours per week: 3

Introduces safety procedures, bench work, hand tools, precision measuring instruments, drill presses, cut-off saws, engine lathes, manual surface grinders, and milling machines. Part II of II. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
