AIR 154: Heating Systems I

3 Credits

Lecture hours per week: 3
Laboratory hours per week: 2

Introduces types of fuels and their characteristics of combustion; types, components and characteristics of burners, and burner efficiency analyzers. Studies forced air heating systems including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and servicing. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
Total 4-8 hours per week.
